The Drake was known for throwing luxurious masquerade balls back in its heyday, with masked women primping in evening gowns and masked men donning tailored tuxes. Masquerade was originally thrown as an affair for the wealthy, and because everyone wore masks, it was a way of escaping social conventions. You could gossip about others, flirt with strangers, and engage in conversations with those below your social stature. Come join us for a night of mystery, romance, intrigue, dancing, and cocktails. Shaun J. Rajah, Special Events Manager of The Palm Court remarks that, “If you are looking for classy way to celebrate Halloween with good food and great music, this would be the ultimate venue-the ultimate affair.
