California Youth Connection

California Youth Connection (CYC) is a youth led organization that develops leaders who empower each other and their communities to transform the foster care system through legislative and policy change.
For the past 25 years, CYC youth members have shared their stories, and met with hundreds of legislators and policy makers to advocate for the improvement and reform of California’s child welfare system. Over the years CYC has empowered thousands of foster youth, and has collaborated with our community partners throughout the state and the country, to ensure that foster youth voices are heard in policy and legislation reform.
