The One Party you won’t want to miss. An all-day affair, The One Party benefiting JDRF, April 26, at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa, includes a morning “Shotgun Scramble” at Wolfdancer Golf Club (AAA Four Diamond course deemed a “Top 25 U.S. Golf Course” by Conde Nast Traveler in 2012) featuring complimentary course cocktails, food trailers, exciting course challenges, prizes (including "best dressed") and a mobile pro shop. Later that afternoon attendees are invited to the teeing ground at 5 p.m. to participate in a putting contest “fore!” some non-golfer fun. To end the day, JDRF invites guests and golfers to put away their putters and leave their collared shirts and khakis on (no coat and tie please!), for a casual night of cocktails, dinner, dancing and a live auction.
When & Where
DRF is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Driven by passionate, grassroots volunteers connected to children, adolescents, and adults with this disease, JDRF is now the largest charitable supporter of T1D research. The goal of JDRF research is to improve the lives of all people affected by T1D by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, better treating, and preventing T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners who share this goal.
Since its founding in 1970, JDRF has awarded more than $1.8 billion to diabetes research. Past JDRF efforts have helped to significantly advance the care of people with this disease, and have expanded the critical scientific understanding of T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. More than 80 percent of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education. For more information, please visit www.jdrf.org.
