The idea for Whersky began as a simple question between friends: We are women who love whisky. We are buying it, serving it, talking about it, and constantly introducing our friends to the products we love.

So, with a growing and increasingly competitive market share going to enthusiastic female consumers, where are the women in whisky?

More importantly, where is the diversity of women in whisky? Why is whisky marketing still limited to the “traditional” image of whisky drinkers, and not offering space for whisky lovers of all backgrounds to have their tastes – and buying power – recognized?

So Whersky is changing the game. Our mission is to break down the boundaries that have recently left much of the population feeling excluded from whisky culture. Through classes, events, and our website, Whersky is creating a space where whisky lovers of all backgrounds feel welcome and recognized.
