The Nolympics - a Sports Day for people not very good at sport.
I'm hosting a very informal sports day/picnic to raise awareness about the Global Poverty Project, it is an excellent cause, all you have to do is turn up with a picnic and join in!
- people to take part in the events
- event judges
- cheerleaders, team captains
- people who just like sitting about and eating picnics while their friends make fools of themselves.
Opening ceremony - where you have to open a package, a bit like pass the parcel
Mathletics - solving some sudoku probably... not thought it through yet
Boxing - how many cardboard boxes can you construct in a minute?
Rythmic gymnastics - this is what it says on the tin
Equestrian - dressage and jumping
Water polo - this might require the approval of the boating lake chap...
Table tennis - or, more accurately, drink pong
Mate-lifting - prizes for size of mate and style.
It will be family friendly, the more the merrier. Let me know if you're coming and if you can think of any more 'sports'
