The Next Step in Digital Photography (Intermediate Level)
Instructor: George Wilson
Thursdays, March 6, 13, 20, 27
6:30 pm-8:30 pm
Now that you are free of the automatic mode, this course will help you think and see clearly as you work your way to becoming a more “deliberate” photographer.
In this course you will learn about aperture compensation and specific techniques with your light-meter, manipulating the white balance for more dynamic results as well as flash and other methods for manipulating light. Discussions about composition will challenge to seek out your own creative compositions, while learning the difference between designing a great image and simply taking a picture.
Considerations: You need to have an understanding of the basic principles of photography and be able to operate your DSLR on manual mode or have taken the Foundation in Photography Course. During this session you will address digital capture, image control, and boundless creative possibilities. This course does not cover digital manipulation or post processing of images.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
