“Bad things when you touch the Never Bell” so opens the dark-fantastical short film THE NEVER BELL written and directed by Emily Lobsenz which tells the story of Nell, her bell and what happens when the crooked chimeras of Nell’s innocent imagination hijack her reason.
Using puppetry designed and performed by Jessica Scott and blending in live-action details and animation, and with a brilliant original soundtrack composed by Vadim Neselovskyi the film dances the line between reality and fantasy to explore the reckoning forces of creativity and memory.
Hosted by the hilarious comedian Aparna Nancherla the evening includes
