Back by popular demand, RedMonk brings you The Monktoberfest. The only conference focused on how craft, technology and social come together, it's one of the most unique events in the industry. This exclusive event will, as it has the last three years, be attended by some of the premier technologists in the world. With some of the most interesting and varied speakers in the industry, we’ll be exploring how technology is impacting the way we socialize and how the way we socialize is influencing the way we build and use technology.
This one of a kind event will be held in downtown Portland, ME on Thursday October 2nd in the Portland Public Library. Attendees arriving the night before will be treated to fine craft beers and food in Portland’s famous Old Port District. Thursday will feature a full day’s worth of sessions, including keynotes and afternoon breakouts.
Following the conclusion of day one of the conference, we are importing some of the world's finest craft beer professionals - whom last year's attendees may remember. Two of the craft beer world's finest, flown in from Baltimore where they run Stillwater's flagship bar Of Love & Regret, will treat attendees to a tasting and dinner featuring the best beers that countries like Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Scotland, Sweden and, yes, the United States have to offer.
The Monktoberfest, besides being the first event of its kind blending beer and technology, will be an exclusive, high profile developer conference. This is a unique opportunity to reach a small, elite audience of technical resources that transcend traditional developer categories. You can’t find a crowd like this anywhere else in the world, and you can’t find beers like this anywhere else in the world.
We hope you're able to join us.
