The Elders of the Northwest center invite men of all ages to join us for our first annual “Gathering of the Tribes.” Whether your tribe is from Ashland, Bellingham or Boise, this will be the chance to connect and celebrate our tribal brotherhood.
Our theme is Building Bridges. What does this theme mean to you?
What bridges in your life are in need of repair… or demolition? Have you burned bridges that need rebuilding?
Where is your bridge taking you? What work is unfinished?
What bridges exist between your tribe and other MKP tribes?
What will it take to reach across borders and boundaries to truly connect with all your relations? Are you ready to create magnificence?
Building Bridges means what YOU make it mean. The elders will create the framework, but the tribes will create the content.
Are you a leader in your tribe? Are you willing to work with the other tribes to build the bridges you need?
Women are invited to join us starting with dinner on Saturday evening, and may choose to stay for the remainder of the weekend or just for dinner and an evening with our speakers, Nik and Barbara Colyer. Nik is a warrior brother and author of the “Channeling Biker Bob” books. Nik and Barbara lead Bridge Workshops to help build stronger bridges between genders.
Logistics: Registration is $40 per man. We expect the average cost per man to be approximately $140 (more men means lower cost per man). On Saturday we will let you know the true cost. On Sunday morning, we ask you to give what you can. No man will be turned away because he cannot afford to come.
Women are invited to join us starting with dinner on Saturday evening. Women may choose to stay for only the Saturday evening events or to sleep over in their own dormitories and join us for the remainder of the weekend. We have priced women's tickets at slightly above our costs.
Meals start with dinner on Friday at 6:00PM and end with Sunday lunch at noon. Bring your sleeping bags and towels - linens not provided but there are plenty of outlets for CPAPs and cell phone chargers.

When & Where
NW Mankind Project Elder Council
The elders of MKP Northwest have been gathering twice a year for many years and have learned how to create a safe and powerful container to help us grow in our elderhood. At our winter gathering at Fort Worden in Port Townsend, WA in January, 2013, we committed to standing up and creating a "Gathering of the Clans" that will bring together men of all ages from throughout our community and from MKP accross the country and the world.
MKP is evolving and the Northwest Center is evolving as well. There are big questions like unification with MKP USA. There are questions about the structure of our center and our communities. There are questions about PITs and PIT facilitation. And there are questions about how we, as a community of men, wake up, grow up and stand up.
Our New Warrior Training Adventure offers men a powerful opportunity to wake up.
Our ongoing I-Groups give men the support we often need to grow up and become mature, open and accountable men.
As elders, we are committed to stand up and lead as awakened and mature men.
Are you an elder? Do you want to experience a powerful weekend with wise grandfathers?
Join us in June and help us create magic!
We are opening up the entire weekend to women. They can join us for meals throughout the weekend, but will spend Friday evening and Saturday daytime forming their own container. We are working on the details of this and will let you know what we come up with as soon as we can.
