The LUNA Classic 2012 Co-ed Road Ride

Come join us for an epic co-ed road ride through the rolling hills of Napa Valley. There will be raffle prizes and wine tasting!
The ride is located at Velo Vino in Napa Valley and will start and finish at the winery. Please be at the event at least a half hour before your ride to check in and get a map of the ride.

MEET at Velo Vino 8:30am for the 30 mi/9am start
Return to Velo Vino around NOON for no-host lunch ...
Azteca Market (burritos, tacos right next door)

Gott's Roadside (just down the street/burger joint)
Sunshine Market (little further down the road but not far)
12:30 or 1pm Hang out, wine taste, socialize & RAFFLE at VinoVelo.
Cost is $50 ALL proceeds donated to the Breast Cancer Fund.
WHAT TO BRING:
A working road bike and helmet are required. Additional items up to you: gloves, glasses, sunblock if you don't want to get crispy. Bring extra water--this will be a long day and want you to stay hydrated! Dress according to weather.

The Team LUNA Chix Bay Area mountain bike team is a group of women brought together by a passion for cycling and a desire to help raise money and support the Breast Cancer Fund. We are a team composed of former professional cross country and downhill mountain bike racers, local mountain bike advocates and enthusiasts, and a breast cancer survivor.

LUNA Chix Local Teams bring together women interested in learning new sports, staying active and inspiring others to do the same.
We are ten women from diverse backgrounds whose passion for cycling and a cause has brought us together. We all enjoy riding as a way of staying physically fit, experiencing new trails, and meeting other riders with the same level of enthusiasm for cycling and the outdoors. If you are a new rider to the area or just looking for other women to explore our beautiful bay area trails, come ride with us.
