Our documentary, The Kids of Kekopey, is the story about a Kenyan orphanage who were facing an eviction out of their rented property. With My Own Two Hands Foundation (a California based nonprofit organization) were notified that the St. Ann’s Children’s Home in Nakuru, Kenya was in the process of being evicted from their rented property, that was home to 25 orphaned children. The St. Ann's Orphanage provides shelter, love and an education to children who have been abandoned and even left to die before coming to the St. Ann's home. After hearing the news of the possibility of these orphaned children being without a home, our team stepped in to help. Our documentary tells the story of the St. Ann’s Orphanage, their eviction from their home, the stories of the children, and how our team raised $40,000 to give 25 orphaned children a permanent home...and an identity.
All proceeds will benefit With My Own Two Hands Foundation, seeking to help provide sustainable solutions for projects in Africa that benefit orphaned or disadvantaged children in need. For more information about our cause visit: www.withmyown2hands.org
