The American Friends of Jamaica and The Jamaica Committee

The American Friends of Jamaica is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting Jamaican charitable organizations and social initiatives targeted at improving the lives of Jamaicans through systemic development in the areas of education, healthcare and economic development.

The AFJ works with a broad coalition of Jamaican organizations and stakeholders to bring about change in the lives of Jamaicans in need. By partnering and contributing to the AFJ; you have the ability to give an education to those who have none; to provide much needed medical care for young mothers, children at risk, the elderly and infirm; and the physically challenged. Join us as we raise critical funds for those in need!

The Jamaica Committee is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed in 2000 by Jamaicans and is intent on helping the less advantaged in Jamaica while promoting the island.  Funds raised are distributed annually to support education, medical needs, programs against violence, encouragement for the arts and support for the needy in Jamaica.
