Join us from 9:00am - 12:00pm for the Model Lighting Ordinance Workshop, presented by James Benya of the International Dark-Sky Association. The presentation is designed for city planners, lighting professionals and anyone interested in how proper outdoor lighting can be achieved while promoting energy conservation. The Model Lighting Ordinance (MLO) is designed to help municipalities develop outdoor lighting standards that reduce glare, light trespass and skyglow.

Established in 1988, the International Dark-Sky Association is an educational, environmental 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting and preserving the nighttime environment and our heritage of dark skies through quality outdoor lighting.
