Poet and 2012 Inspired Word Poetry Slam Champion Thomas Fucaloro has a new book out by three rooms press called It Starts From the Belly and Blooms. He is an editor of great weather for media, teaches poetry workshops at the Neon Bronx Probation Center, Writopia Lab and the Aicorn Youth Treatment Center, and likes daisies.
Comedian Pierre Fontenelle likes to engage audiences as if he was talking to a good friend. He also believes in telling it like it is. Drawing from personal experience, his style is best described as comedic storytelling in the vein of comics like Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby, Louis CK, to name a few. Though he doesn't put himself in the same caliber as such famous names, Pierre hopes one day to be even half as good as them. This year he was one of the comics in the 1st annual Jersey City Comedy Festival and recently competed in Long Island City's Laughing Devil Comedy Club's 1st Devil Cup, a competition for comedians who've been in the business 5 years and under.
Shako Khiski is a 19-year-old rising talent on the New York City music scene. He was born in Almata, Kazachstan, raised in Moscow, Russia, and has lived in The Big Apple since 2004. Influenced by such artists as Stevie wonder, George Benson, John Mayer, and Sting, Shako started playing guitar at 14, writing music at 16, and has won various talent competitions. His mashups, in particular, are totally original and completely wows audiences.
Born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, Zach Robinson is an acoustic guitarist who plays an eclectic, feel-good mix of soft rock and soulful jazz pop. Zach has a repertoire of both highly recognizable covers and sophisticated original songs. His music influences are Eminem, Rob Thomas, Ben Folds, Jason Mraz, John Mayer and The Beatles. In New York City, he has performed at Sullivan Hall, The Way Station, Funkadelic Studios, and Waltz Astoria.
Myrna and The Bulldog created quite a buzz in Austin, Texas, before moving to New York City a few months ago. They play Blues Rock with a Latin feel. They has a fun, upbeat style with beautiful vocals and catchy melodies that will leave you humming for days.
