IDSA NY invites you to the series called Inspiration Lounge hosted by WeCross on Wednesday, January 23rd 2013. The Inspiration Lounge is a forum to hear inspirational viewpoints and work. Each speaker comes equipped with insights from their own unique process and experiences. The Inspiration Lounge is a tool for cross pollinating ideas between all facets of design and applying design thinking into all industries.

Pete Maulik / Partner & Chief Strategy Officer at Fahrenheit 212
As Chief Strategy Officer, Pete plays three complementary roles. First, he’s responsible for operationalizing and evolving Fahrenheit 212’s performance-based compensation model in a manner that enables the company to scale profitably while delivering transformational innovation to each of our clients.
Additionally, he is responsible for talent management – finding, hiring and nurturing the best people in the world, giving them the structure they need to perform at their peak and then watching in constant amazement as they reset the bar for game-changing innovation time and time again.
Lastly, Pete is responsible for leading the development of innovation strategies for all of Fahrenheit 212’s clients and playing an active role in Fahrenheit 212’s thought-leadership.
Pete has spoken and written extensively on innovation. In April 2010, he was a keynote speaker at the American Express Luxury Summit discussing ways to “Inspire Loyalty Through Innovation.” He’s been a featured speaker at Columbia Business School, ESSEC Business School, Fordham Business School, Wharton Business School, and Singapore Management University.
Additionally, Pete has been published in the Harvard Business Review online edition as well as CEO Magazine, quoted in the Financial Times, and has written various white papers including “The Innovation Imperative: Keys To Developing Successful Innovations Within Fortune 500 Companies,” and “Ideas Are The Easy Part,” which examines the dichotomy between an idea and an innovation and provides a recommendation on the ways CEOs can improve their odds of successfully harnessing the power of true innovation to accelerate revenue growth.
Outside of work, Pete holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He’s passionate about his family, outdoor sports and reliving his ever-improving glory days as a college football player.
