Help us set a Guinness World Record for the most people howling!
Currently, no record exists in this category, but we need at least 250 people for Guinness World Records to approve it.
To sign up, simply obtain your FREE tickets here. Each of these tickets includes a unique barcode, so make sure you print your ticket off and bring it with you to the event. If you have a smart phone, we can scan the ticket off of there. If forget your ticket, you will lose your VIP admission and have to wait until those with tickets have been admitted.
Here's the tentative schedule of events:
7:30 p.m. We will begin admitting students who have pre-ordered tickets.
8 p.m. We will start giving out extra tickets to those who did not sign up ahead of time. This is on a first come, first serve basis.
8:20 p.m. Students will not longer be admitted. Everyone will get into place.
8:30 p.m. We will let off the Husky Howl!
9 p.m. The post-party celebration will begin at Atwood After Dark.
Some things to keep in mind on the day of the event:
-You do not need to bring anything with you to the event except your ticket.
-Once you have exited the world record attempt area, you will not be allowed to re-enter, so make sure you make any necessary trips beforehand.
-Each person will be assigned a number upon arrival at the event. These colors will correspond with a specific area and "steward" that you are assigned to. You must be standing in your zone during the attempt so the stewards can ensure full participation.
-The record attempt requires that you howl for one full minute. The beginning and ending of the minute will be clearly marked. You are allowed to breathe, but you must not stop other than that until the minute is over or your specific attempt will be disqualified.
