"Never be afraid of trying something new, Hassan. Very important. It is the spice of life." -- Hassan’s mother (chapter 2) 

In time for the blockbuster movie, "The Hundred Foot Journey", our dinner draws inspiration from both Indian and French cuisine. Enjoy Hassan's cardamom, cumin and fenugreek infused fish stew; a colorful, aromatic "bhelpuri" salad; a fragrant, light and delicious layer cake and to top it off - a Japanese wagyu A3 tenderloin of beef with a dark cherry demiglace. Let the bold, playful and complex flavors of spices and herbs tickle your senses and please your palate. Featuring menu items inspired by the book and movie, this menu features organic, seasonal and foraged ingredients. Join us for dinner if you plan to watch the movie!

Space is very limited, our dinners always sell out, please register early. This will be our last publicly offered dinner for the year. Don't miss it!

This is a BYOB/BYOD event with no corkage or service fee.

Mumbai Bhelpuri Salad

 Sweet summer heirloom and cherry tomatoes,

cucumber, mango, toasted almonds, coriander leaves, spiced 

puffed rice, aromatic herbs served with a

green chutney on crisp bread

 

Chicken, Kaffir and Coconut Curry Soup

An exotic blend of curry, lemongrass, ginger, coconut milk,   kaffir lime leaves, seasonal vegetables and sweet basil

  

Magadha Style Pani Puri

Round, hollow and crisp, served with a minty, sweet and tangy katthi meethi chutney

 

Hassan's Spiced Perfumed Fish Stew 

Pacific cod infused with the flavors of turmeric, coriander, garlic lemon and ginger, served with a cardamom and bay perfumed steamed basmati rice


Madame Mallory's Tenderloin of Beef

Sous vide Japanese A3 tenderloin of beef with a classic French dark cherry and cognac demiglace, seasonal vegetables on a bed of gratin dauphinoise


Hundred Layer Cake with Wild Flower Honey

and Kesar Pista Ice Cream

A harmonious blend of Eastern and Western spices such as nutmeg, pandan and cloves, served with sweet honey and saffron pistachio ice cream  


Our food is prepared in a Health Department inspected and licensed commercial kitchen. 

 

The location of the event (somewhere near Menlo Park/Palo Alto/Los Altos/Cupertino area) will be sent 2 days before the event to the email listed on the registration. Parking at the venue is free. 

 

We don't charge corkage if you BYOB, however, you are responsible for opening bottles and serving yourselves. Drink responsibly. 

 

No cancellations on ticket sales please, but you're welcome to transfer tickets to family or friends. A wailtlist is available once tickets are sold out for the event and if seats are added

 

Because we only use the best seasonal and fresh ingredients, menu items may change.

 

Attire is Casual.
