Event Details

A 30-member strong delegation from Hong Kong Cyberport -- including investors, VCs, and startups -- is visiting Silicon Valley.

This visit is a sequel following a huge success last summer when the Hong Kong delegation first visited Silicon Valley (see media coverage: HKTDCSina).  In last year's event, hosted by HYSTA, Hong Kong delegates got a 30,000-feet overview of technology industry here.

“This was the first time we organized a delegation to Silicon Valley ... you can read about those secret-to-success stories, but seeing them for yourself is very different” -- by Dr. David Chung, Chief Technology Officer, Cyberport

“This trip is the first step to get traction, but we want to go beyond that. We want first-tier Hong Kong technology companies to leverage opportunities by setting up in Silicon Valley.” -- by Leslie Yuen, HYSTA Executive Director (2012)

Now, they are coming back, with a more ambitious mission: to dive deeper into collaborations and to make solid deals happen!

Because of this mission, one program highlight will be a networking mixer for bilateral startups, angel investors, and VCs. There will also be welcome and keynote speeches by high-profile executives, as well as a luncheon and dinner open to the public.

This signature event is co-hosted by HYSTA, Hanhai, and Cyberport.
