 Session 1 Home Crafted Probiotic Drinks   January 5th   2-4 pm  

Exotic flavors, fizz, and tantalizing textures will arouse your senses and make your belly feel like singing!

Learn how to create fantastic medicinal foods found right in your fridge. We will explore the cooking techniques and health benefits of just a few of the dozens of fermented foods that people have been eating around the world forever, and for good reason including Miso, tempeh and sauerkrauts.

Session 3 Sauerkraut as Art and Medicine   February 2nd  2-5 pm

This is a Make and Take Class! Everyone will go home with a jar of kraut!

Take the health and nutritional benefits of vegetables and multiply them through fermentation! Probiotics, digestive enzymes, and enhanced, beneficial nutrients are just some of the gifts of sauerkraut.   Come to Creative Culture’s kitchen and practice the old-world art of making your own kraut.  Each participant will leave with a ½ gallon of kraut to ferment at home!  You won’t believe how fun and therapeutic it is to pound away at cabbage to the rhythm of a beat!
