The Harry Potter Conference
Friday, October 26, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (EDT)
"The Harry Potter Conference: Reflections on the Major Themes in J.K. Rowling's Literature" is an academic outlet for students and faculty to present papers/research related to the Harry Potter Series. The conference is being held at Chestnut Hill College on Friday October 26th from 3:00PM to 5:30 PM, with a reception and check-in from 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM. Attendees and presenters should meet at the Rotunda in St. Joseph's Hall. This conference brings a scholarly component to the Harry Potter Weekend events which begin on Friday evening and conclude with the Brotherly Love Quidditch Tournament on Saturday October 27th, also held at Chestnut Hill College. All are welcome to attend the conference and Harry Potter events; registration through eventbright is to ensure an accurate headcount for conference attendees. For questions or comments, please email Dr. Karen Wendling at firstname.lastname@example.org.
** As you prepare for the conference, please assume that all attendees have taken at least some undergraduate-level coursework and have read the complete Harry Potter series.
