Benita Barrozo, Founder of "The GgiG" Women's Ministry
In addition to being a licensed minister of the Gospel, Benita Barrozo is a Certified Project Manager with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She possesses several training certifications and a Diploma in Biblical Studies.
Benita is passionate about helping believers in the Body of Christ fulfill their God given purpose. Over the past 20 years she has served in various leadership positions in the local church including Single Adult and Women’s Ministry Director, Cell Group Leader, Bible College Instructor, and Administrative Director.
In addition to facilitating workshops and speaking at conferences, Benita is the founder of Carrier Ministries, The GgiG (Girls growing in God) Women’s Ministry and Abigail’s Girls book club for married women.
Having entered the paid workforce at age 14, Benita has over 37 years of work experience. Her experiences span Fast Food, Law Enforcement, Health Care, Public Utility and Human Services professions.
As a Learning and Development professional, Benita has a passion for training and developing employees at all levels in an organization. Her areas of expertise are Career and Interview Skills Coaching, Managing Training Programs, Project Management and Developing Leaders.
About the GgiG
The GgiG Women's Ministry, Girls growing in God, is an extension of Carrier Ministries, Founded by Benita Barrozo in October of 2005. The GgiG's mission is to establish and maintain a fellowship for women 30 years of age and older, from all walks of life, with a sincere desire to:
- Cultivate a closer walk with God
- Renew their minds to the word of God
- Hear and clearly discern the voice of God
- Discover and fulfill their God given purpose
The GgiG's vision is to see women walk in total victory and fulfill the plans and purposes God has for their lives while building life-long relationships with women of like faith. This vision will be accomplished through:
