The next edition of The Galt Games is around the corner! The Galt Games are the premier CrossFit Competition in Chicago and we're excited for our next edition. Mark your calendars for August 16th-17th and prepare yourself for the best Galt Games yet! At Atlas, we believe competition brings out the best in us, and forces us to do things we never thought possible. This edition of The Galt Games is sure to challenge regional level athletes, yet still be accessible for a newcomer. Whether you’re looking to go individual or team, we know you’ll be happy you did it!
All individuals will compete on Saturday, Teams will compete on Sunday.

Some changes we’ve made for this competition:
New Masters Division: We’ve added a masters division for men and women 40+! We had lots of requests for this field and we would hate to disappoint! There’s only 20 spots per division though, so sign up quick! The Masters standards will be the same as the scaled division.
New Teams Format: Teams will still be 4 person and consist of 2 guys and 2 girls, but we’ve formatted the WODs a little differently. Everyone will still be guaranteed 3 workouts but we’ve broken them up so that you’ll be paired up as partners in different varieties. True to tradition though, the last regular WOD and the Final WOD will be all 4 teammates together still.
More Finalists for Individuals: We wanted to make the finals more interesting and have a greater impact on the overall standings so we’re expanding the number of finalists for each division to keep things interesting!

Here are the standards for the competition.
Individual standards are:
Thrusters (Rx 115/85) (Sc/Mas 95/65)
Rx=Chest-to-bar pull ups, Sc/Mas=Push Ups
Wall Balls (Rx 20/14 Sc/Mas=14/10
Box Jumps (Rx=24, Sc/Mas=20)
OHS (Rx=95/65, Sc/Mas=75/55)
Finalists should be able to do the following:
Snatch Rx=155/95, S=115/75
Rx=Handstand walk, Sc/Mas=OH Walking Lunge (45/35)
Weighted Pistols (Rx=55/35, Sc=Back Squat 115/75)
Team Standards are:
Wall Balls (Rx=20/14, Sc=14/10)
Rx=Chest-To-Bar Pull Ups (Sc=Push Ups)
Rx=Toes-To-Bar (Sc=Sit Ups)
Rx=Pistols Sc=air squats
Box jumps (Rx=24 Sc=20)
Team finalists should be able to do:
Handstand walk (Sc=OH Walking Lunge (45/35)
HSPU (Sc=push up)
Snatch (155/95) (115/75)
Hang Cleans (155/95) (115/75)
Front Squat (155/95) (115/75)
