Early Internet pioneer, media personality and keynote speaker Imran Anwar will present a vision for The Future Of Money, including the role technology has played in the most basic but complex global reality of Money, from the early stages to the present day.
Imran then discusses his predictions for how the changing nature of money, driven by permutations and combinations of global / social / mobile / IP / exchanges / microfinance / micropayments / competition / regulation, will require future industry leaders to deploy technology to achieve strategic competitive advantage.

Imran Anwar is currently an Enterprise Architect at Microsoft, with an impressive track record of visionary entrepreneurship in several industries.
He is an early Internet pioneer who launched Internet email in Pakistan, and co-founded the .PK ccTLD for the country of 160 million, more than 20 years ago. He also launched the branded credit card industry leading MasterCard’s entry into that market nearly two decades ago, overcoming technical, regulatory, social as well religion-driven challenges related to the ban on paying or earning interest in that nation. In the USA he led EverTrac, a pioneer in mobile eCommerce and location-aware transaction services, later acquired by CA.
Imran is an Electronic Engineer, full scholarship Columbia University MBA, frequent guest analyst on CNN, Fox News, and many others. He has been published in and written about by numerous publications worldwide, including the Wall Street Journal.
