Monday, November 16, 2009 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM (EST)
London-born Dr. Francis Peel, a rabbi’s son, was a boy bicycle messenger under the bombing in World War Two. His family moved to the USA, and he became an American citizen while serving in the US Army. Peel holds degrees from Cornell and Columbia Universities and is a retired Member of the New York and Federal Bars. He has served as legal advisor to a many international organizations, including several United Nations agencies. In addition to his work as an international lawyer, Dr. Peel has been a professor of American and world politics and a European media personality. He was Deputy Director-General of the World Wildlife Fund, delegate to three presidential nominating conventions, and has lectured worldwide. His window on international affairs is unique, as are many of his opinions. “In Geneva – In Conversation with Frank Peel” was the first English language television program in Continental Europe. After having lived most of his life in Britain and Switzerland, Frank moved to Naples two years ago. He thinks Naples is the best place he's come across in all his global travels.
