Join speakers from the San José Downtown Association, SPUR San José and City of San José for a moderated discussion of downtown urban planning/design issues, including: balancing the role of the downtown as an employment and housing center, creating public/private partnerships, financing infrastructure improvements post redevelopment, and creating a pedestrian friendly public realm. A walking tour will follow the panel discussion to explore recent downtown developments. Sponsored by California Planning Roundtable and APA California Northern Section.

The California Planning Roundtable (CPR) is an organization of experienced planning professionals who are members of the American Planning Association (APA). Membership is balanced between the public and private sectors, and between Northern and Southern California.
