Event Details

We're dreaming of the day when we'll be able just press a button and those Christian Louboutin shoes we've been coveting can be printed into our hands (and straight onto our feet). When 3-D printing hits the mainstream, the possibilities for what we might be able to do is kind of mindblowing. 3D printing technology is poised to impact just about every aspect of our lives, from health to design, and has the potential to revolutionize the manufacturing landscape as we know it.   Join us for a discussion about the future of the field and what we can expect over the next few pivotal years. Please note the venue is 21 and older.

This Panel includes:

Moderator: Tom Simonite, Senior Computing Editor, MIT Technology Review

  • Type A Machines will have their Series 1 3D Printer on site printing a blade of the Rolls-Royce Trent 900 Turbo fan, an engine component in the Airbus A380), in 1:6 scale.

This panel is hosted in collaboration with General Assembly.
