4pm-5pm: Interactive Panel

The Food-Tech Dilemma: What Dot-Coms Can Learn from Jam Makers

In recent years, there’s been a surge of food-meets-tech discussion, investment, and entrepreneurship. However, for many in the sustainable food movement, Silicon Valley's approach to disrupting an industry can be tangential. Convening a room full of experts from all perspectives, we’ll explore the real world intersection of food + technology and how the two can work together in driving the sustainable food movement forward.

Panel Participants Include:

Brita Rosenheim, Strategist and Advisor, Rosenheim Advisors (moderator)
Sarah Weiner, Executive Director, Seedling Projects
Ali Partovi, Sustainable Food Investor & Co-Founder, Code.org
Rob Spiro, CEO, Good Eggs
Dafna Kory, Founder and CEO, Inna Jam
Rebekah Helzel, Strategy and Financial Consultant, Cutting Edge Capital

5pm-7pm: Food Connection Reception
Meet, mingle and enjoy drinks + food brought to you by Whole Foods & various local food crafters.

The Good Food Merchants Guild
All across the country, a new crop of food producers are reviving the traditional crafts of preserving, brewing, roasting and distilling. From the organizers of the Good Food Awards comes the Good Food Merchants Guild, which will foster, distinguish and unite them to become a vibrant economic force in America.
