Join us as we launch The F&ck Up Nights at UC Berkeley.
Founded in Mexico City in 2012, The F&ck Up Nights brings together entrepreneurs, techies and business minds to discuss failure and what it means to us. We will have three speakers that will each share a short tale of when they failed, how, and what they learned from it. We will then have a short activity focused on recognizing what each one of us has learned from a 'fail' event. The rest of the night will be dedicated to networking and learning. The entire event is informal, friendly, and cordial. Drinks will be provided, but a suggested tip is encouraged to maintaining the sustainability of this event!
Cohosted by UC Berkeley Haas's Berkeley Entrepreneurship Association (BEA) and Design and Innovation Strategy Club (DISC)

In addition to her studio practice, Delaney heads the creative firm Caste Underground Design Co., a multi-service design studio operating out of Berkeley, CA.
Our speakers include:
David Good - Director, Product Management at UniversityNow
David founded GameCrush in 2007 after receiving his MBA at UC Berkeley Haas. GameCrush, which raised over $1 million in startup funding and was a finalist for TechCrunch's Disrupt competition in 2010, focused on creating a platform for online gamers to connect and 'gift' one another items. David currently leads Product Management at UniversityNow which is focused on making higher education available to a much larger audience.
Atul Sood - Founder, CEO at Oventio
Atul leads Oventio, a high-growth B2B sales intelligence company based in Oakland, CA and is a principal in Tucker Capital, a education technology investment bank based in Princeton, NJ. He serves on multiple boards, is an advisor to a few too many start-ups, and is a mentor to the Keller Center for entrepreneurship at Princeton University. Prior to his current role(s), Atul successfully ran the turnaround of a struggling company based in India, worked in enterprise sales for a software company in Austin and was an investment banker. Atul graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Barely.
James Wang - Founder, Hacker, Haas MBA
James is currently co-founder and CTO/COO for a smart vibrator company, board director for a Ghanian microfinance institution, and a Haas MBA (graduating in 2015). Prior to his current roles, he worked at Bridgewater Associates, a $150 billion assets under management hedge fund, and before that, he founded a nonprofit consulting group that worked with organizations all over the world, specializing in west African microfinance. As a whole, his past experience aptly demonstrates that Haas MBAs have weird backgrounds. James is an alumnus of Hacker School (a Y-combinator backed school for programmers) and Dartmouth College.
