Today, user experience design is at the heart of excellent technology. Those tech products that are designed to provide the best possible experience are the most successful. Companies like Apple create their rabid following based on their ability to deliver amazing technology experiences. Does your company?
Join us for a night of talking about user experience design, featuring 5 panelists with decades of combined experience in designing tech products to deliver a superb user experience.
We’ll dig into topics like:
- How to make things usable
- How and when to do user research
- How to usability test your products and create a culture of testing in your organization
- How to manage the user experience design process in both Waterfall and Agile environments
- And much, much more.
Additionally, we’ll feature a gallery of user experience design documents – sketches, wireframes, flows and more – so you can see how your colleagues are using these methods to design their products.
As if that's not enough, we'll also have a Homepage Throwdown before the event! This event, already wildly popular at Tampa Bay WaVE is a gut wrenching, no-holds barred design critique, where attendees are able to volunteer their site to be critiqued by panelists live, in front of the audience!
If you want to create tech products that deliver an amazing user experience, you’re not going to want to miss this event.
Calling all UX Designers! The Engine is looking for samples of your work to show off at our next Engine event on June 5th!
The event is all about user experience design, and we're looking to create a gallery of work that shows off the documents, sketches and other artifacts that are so commonly used in the UX process.
Examples include (but definitely aren't limited to):
- Site Maps
Really, anything that shows your process of designing an app or website. Don't be afraid to submit messy work - we want to show off things that show how UX designers think through problems while designing!
To submit your work, simply email your files email@example.com. PDFs are preferred.
Work will be printed and displayed in a frame, approximately 12"x16", so please keep this in mind when selecting work for exposition.

What is RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) you ask?
Recruitment Process Outsourcing is a form of business process outsourcing (BPO) where an employer transfers all or part of its recruitment processes to an external service provider. In all cases, RPO differs greatly from providers such as staffing companies and contingent/ retained search providers in that it assumes ownership of the design and management of the recruitment process and the responsibility of results.
