Slate magazine invites you to attend the New York launch party for Hanna Rosin's new book, The End of Men. Rosin, who is the founder of DoubleX, Slate's women's section, will be interviewed by David Plotz, Slate editor who also happens to be Rosin's husband.
Are men really finished? Are women taking over marriages? Offices? Bedrooms? Why? What happens to couples when the woman out earns the man? Does she become The Man? This battle of the sexes promises to be a lively evening with editor Plotz interrogating his wife about her new book and getting to the bottom of whether or not men are really finished.

The End of Men: And the Rise of Women, the new book by Hanna Rosin, investigates the rapidly shifting power dynamics between men and women at every level of society, and the implications for marriage, sex, children, work, and more.
Rosin finds women and men from every stratum of class, education, and culture behaving in ways that point to a dramatically upended social order.
