Tanya M. Odom, is a highly regarded consultant, coach, facilitator, teacher, and thought leader. She has conducted hundreds of workshops for adults and youth around the globe. She is an Executive Coach and the Director of Innovation and Social Media for the TheFutureWorkInstitute. Ms. Odom works with corporations in the U.S. and Europein their efforts to address diversity issues and create sustainable change in organizations. Tanya writes the Diversity column for Diversity Womanmagazine. She also is a frequent contributor to Insight into Diversity and Workshifting. Tanya was recently named by Diversity Best Practices as “One of the Five Diversity Thought Leaders to Follow on Twitter.” She has worked as a consultant and facilitator, and is the co-author of "Evaluation in the Field of Education for Democracy, Human Rights and Tolerance”. Tanya is the first female President of the Board of Directors of Townsend Harris High School at Queens College, and is currently serving in the role of co-Chairperson. Tanya serves on the Advisory Board of Wall Street in the Black. She is also on the Board of the National Society of High School Scholars Foundation. She is currently working on a book with Civil Rights activist Mel King.Tanya earned a Masters degree in Education from Harvard University; and received her B.A. in Anthropology/Sociology with a correlate sequence in Women’s Studies from Vassar College.
