The importance of early childhood education took center stage in Indianapolis throughout 2013. Various incidents helped bring public attention to many of the less-than-perfect child care centers that provide care in Central Indiana. Media outlets covered the issue, and legislators made it a top priority for the current General Session with both Republicans and Democrats making public statements that it is their goal to implement change this time around.
Join United Way of Central Indiana in welcoming Robert Dugger, Ph.D., an investment banking expert from Washington, DC, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Partnership for America's Economic Success and Chair of the Invest in Kids Working Group within the Partnership for America's Economic Success.
We are encouraging eveyone who attends to donate a canned good to the Light of the World food pantry.
