"The Importance of Networking Throughout Your Career"

 Sandy Green, Ph.D.

During his distinguished career Dr. Green has published many articles and cases and has received numerous awards and grants. Dr. Green is currently developing a new area of research that combines the fields of rhetoric and finance.

Nell C. Huang-Horowitz, Ph. D., Assistant Professor, Department of Communication, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Dr. Horowitz’s research focuses on three main areas: identity and reputation, small businesses and nonprofits, and emerging fields. From the perspective of her research, identity (what an organization says about itself) and reputation (how others outside of the organization think about the organization) are integral parts of public relations. She is particularly interested in how small businesses and nonprofits manage their identity and reputation despite their lack of financial and human resources. http://www.prsa.org/Intelligence/PRJournal/Documents/2012Huang-Horowitz.pdf

Riordan Programs Alumni Association

Started in 2000, the Riordan Programs Alumni Association (RPAA) provides graduates of the Riordan Programs an extension of their professional, educational and personal leadership development through collaborative efforts to develop tomorrow's leaders and serve the community. The RPAA achieves these goals through its two flagship initiatives: The Saturday Business Academy (SBA), a program designed to prepare traditionally disadvantaged and underserved high school students with the skills and academic guidance necessary to become future business leaders. And, through the annual Diversity MBA Admissions Conference (DMAC), held every summer where the nation’s top business schools seek to recruit talented candidates from underrepresented backgrounds.
