Marissa Olexa—Brand Development Manager, Turnstone @marissalexa
Marissa Olexa is the New York City area Business Development Manager (or as she calls herself, an Opportunities Creator) for Turnstone. Prior to Turnstone, Marissa was in charge of social media and marketing for the American University of Beirut alumni association. Previously Marissa worked at the New York City Economic Development Corporation and Michael Graves Design Group. She also has a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Hunter College. Marissa lives in Jersey City, the “sixth borough” of New York City.
Jeff Breazeale—Co-Founder and Creative Director, The Matchbox Studio @MatchBoxTweet
The Matchbox Studio is a full service branding and creative design firm located in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas. Jeff has been instrumental in growing the studio to a team of 18 multitalented designers, developers and creative thinkers – all the while maintaining the down-to-earth approach to the business and culture of Matchbox that's made it a success. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations, Jeff's role is to guide the creative vision for each project and see that it meshes seamlessly with the given strategy and goals of the client. His creative direction and leadership for clients including The Joule Hotel, Neiman Marcus, The Dallas Opera, The Town of Addison and The Fort Worth Opera has been recognized by national and international design publications and award shows. Jeff believes great work comes from great people, and for 17 years, he has continued to invest in the people he works with every day.
Brigitte Preston, RID, LEED AP ID+C @brigittepreston
Brigitte is an owner and Design Principal at lauckgroup, an interior architecture firm focused on commercial design. Brigitte drives innovation and leads the firm’s design team. At the forefront of design for three decades, Brigitte has led the creation of progressive workspaces for numerous companies, including: Mary Kay, Ericsson, USAA, Whole Foods Market, Energy Future Holdings, Carrington Coleman, Winstead Attorneys, Cambridge Healthcare, Woods Capital and the J.R.Simplot Company. An award-winning designer, Brigitte is involved in projects on multiple levels to ensure that the design intent and concepts are implemented to meet the client's functional and aesthetic goals
Clarisa Lindenmeyer—VP of Corporate Affairs and PR, Tech Wildcatters @ClarisaLindy
Having played important roles in every aspect of business development and strategic communications in the health and wellness industry for the last decade, Clarisa brings fresh eyes and an amazing skill set to the startup world at Tech Wildcatters. Clarisa is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for TELOS Fitness Center where she loved the challenge of growing this local concept. As the Director of Marketing she managed: all branding initiatives, marketing strategy, SEO and the website, social media, corporate wellness, special events and sales. It was this broad scope of experience that prepared her for working with startups on messaging, branding, business development, product launches and corporate development. At Tech Wildcatters she leads PR, corporate sponsorship, marketing, communication strategy and special events.
