Open House- Introduction to a secular Jewish school
- Religion & Spirituality
- SAJ, New York NY
Join us for a beautiful and moving service of music and contemplation that expresses traditional High Holiday themes while honoring human reason and human dignity. Our celebration combines familiar passages with innovative language so that cultural Jews can mark these holidays in a way that is consistent with humanistic beliefs.
On Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, children attend their own participatory program and join the rest of the congregation for the blowing of the shofar. Rosh Hashanah services are followed by an optional community meal for an additional charge.
Become a member before November 1 and have the cost of your ticket deducted from membership fees, which are already discounted for new members.
