About Our Speakers:
David Blanke, CFO/ COO, Sailthru
David Blanke has over 20 years experience in the technology,media and healtcare industries at startup,high growth, and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Sailthru, David was Managing Director of Money-Media, part of the Financial Times Group. David led the sale of the business to the Financial Times in 2008. As Managing Director, he led the post-sale integration of the business, global expansion into Europe and Asia, and new business development into research and data products. Earlier in his career, David worked in strategy, planning and analysis, acoounting and auditing roles at Quest Diagnostics, Stryker Corporation, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan and received his CPA license from New york State. Saithru has consistently doubled revenue on an annual basis. In 2012, Dave helped lead the $19 million Series B fundraising effort, which brought on Benchmark as an investor.
Bruce Cooperman, Managing Partner, Nereus Advisors
Bruce Cooperman is the managing partner at Nereus Advisors. He founded Nereus to provide financial and operational advisory services to businesses across three primary domains - financial technology, B2B transaction services and media technology. Using his experience in management, corporate goverance, capital raising and strategic investing, Bruce provides insight and support to both management and investors.
Until December 2013, Bruce was the Chief Financial Officer of AppNexus, responsible for Finance, Treasury, Investor Relations and Facilities. He guided AppNexus through a rapid growth stage in its development and maturation. In his tenure, he navigated a successful capital raise, managed a successful business acquisition, developed a global financial infrastructure, and oversaw a risk management and compliance process. He supported the creation of an Audit Committee and administered its activities.
From 1999 to 2011, Bruce was Chief Financial Officer of International Securities Exchange. He helped start ISE, directed the IPO in 2005 and facilitated the subsequent sale of the company in 2007. From 1997 to 1999, he was Senior Vice President at the Board of Trade of the City of New York (NYBOT). During his tenure, he was Chief Financial Officer of the New York Cotton Exchange, played a lead role in developing the first electronic marketplace for trading U.S. Treasury futures contracts and was a key contributor to the merger of the New York Cotton Exchange and the Coffee Sugar and Cocoa Exchange. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Cooperman was Director of Finance and Information Technology at Fischer, Francis, Trees & Watts where he directed the global operations of the finance and technology divisions. From 1984 to 1993, he was a Vice President in the Finance Division of Credit Suisse. He started his career in 1981 as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Bruce has served on the board of not-for-profit and private companies and has been management liaison to Audit and Compensation Committees. He is well versed in best practices of corporate governance, risk management and compliance.
Mr. Cooperman is a graduate of Ohio State University, where he received B.S. degrees in Accounting and Computer Science. He resides in New York City with his wife and two daughters.

David McCann is Deputy Editor at CFO Publishing and directs its coverage of human capital management, finance careers, and employee benefits. Since joining CFO in 2007, he has been Web News Editor, Careers Editor, and Technology Editor, and has also written extensively on accounting, regulation and compliance, investor relations, and other finance topics. From 1995 to 2006, David was Editor-in-Chief of MeetingNews, a business-to-business publication aimed at corporate and association meeting plannners, and from 1987 to 1995 he was Executive Managing Editor of Business Travel News, a B2B publication for corporate travel managers.

M. Tatum (Tate) Pursell is a co-founder and senior advisor of Unlimited Horizons, Inc. (www.uh-inc.com), an independent private equity sponsor that invests in manfacturing and distribution companies. UH was founded by senior executives with extensive domestic and international experience. They seek to invest in mid-sized companies and non-core diverstitures that are not acheiving their full potential. UH has one operating company , Ebtech Industrial Building Solutions (www.ebtechindustrial.com), which manufactures modular buildings.
Mr. Pursell has over 30 years of experience as a senior operating executive, board member, and private equity principal. As an independent director of Barton Group, a family-owned materials and manufacturing company, Mr. Pursell chairs the compensation committee and is a member of the goverance committee. He is also an independent director of Lectrus Corporation, an operating company of RFE Investment Partners.
In addition, Mr. Pursell advises boards, lenders, and private equity firms on growth strategies and operational improvements,and conducts operational due diligence. In the past, he has acted as a turnaround consultant, financial advisor, and crisis manager.
Mr. Pursell's educational credentials include an MBA and BA (biology/chemistry) from Washington University in St. Louis, a certificate of director education from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and a Six Sigma Certification.
