The Changing Role of the CFO: The Evolution from Finance Expert to Operational Leader
Wednesday, September 10, 2014, 8:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Aon, One Seaport Plaza, 199 Water Street, New York, NY

The CFO role has evolved from a numbers cruncher/ accountant "finance expert" focused on past performance into that of a forward thinking performance leader looking at where the business is going.

While CFOs are still focused on the bottom line, cash flows, controls, costs and risks, they also partner with the management team to seek profitable growth opportunities and help determine the direction of the company. Today's CFOs are becoming more operational and are performance leaders concerned with driving business indicators and performance metrics.

Join the CFO RoundTable NYC for The Changing Role of the CFO: The Evolution from Finance Expert to Operational Leader where our panel will discuss how to take charge of this evolution and fully embrace your leadership position within your organization.

Our panel discussion will feature the perspectives of CFOs, CEOs, and Board Members, all of whom will comment on the history of the CFO role and its evolution over the past 5 - 10 years due to the regulatory landscape, expanding board expectations, and strategic endeavors.
