When & Where
The Center for Hope and Healing
The Center for Hope and Healing is an IRS qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers free and confidential services to men, women and teens (13 and older) and their significant others in Lowell and 13 surrounding communities who have been impacted by sexual assault. This includes 24 hour hotline, individual counseling, support groups, medical & legal advocacy and eduacational workshops and presentations to prevent sexual violence.
This year the news has been flooded with stories fo rape and sexual assault on college campuses, in the military, in churches, on the streets, in our neighborhoods ans homes. What the news doesn't tell you is that this can be prevented. What the news doesn't say is that CHH and other rape crisis centers work tirelessly every day and night to prevent sexual violence and to support survivors to heal and thrive.
Every year dedicated staff and volunteers of CHH provide a caring and skilled response to more that 300-400 individuals in crisis on our hotline and at local hospitals any time day or night all year long. We reach, on average, more than 1,000 students at elemantry and high schools and local colleges with educations and tools to prevent sexual violence. Yet, there is more to do, and we need your help to do it!
