The Burpee 5k - 2014
Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM (CDT)
Evergreen Park, IL
Burpees may be the exercise everyone loathes - but you are not everyone. Where others fear pain, you’re prepared to accept and dominate the challenge...
Or maybe you have a love/hate/"it’s complicated" history with Burpees. You know that one does not "dominate" Burpees, but it’s a challenge so you’ve got to give it a shot...
Or maybe your trainer's greatest joy in life is yelling at you to do Burpees, and asking him the last time he completed a B5K might help to restore some of the the dignity you’ve lost in bootcamp...
Whatever your motivations are, we welcome your participation! The Burpee 5K is a unique and innovative event unlike any other. The goal (easy to explain, difficult to achieve) is to complete a 5K of Burpees, whether by yourself or with a team, to raise money to support the Green Beret Foundation. All proceeds and donations will be given to the GBF.
