The Bubby Walk for Down Syndrome

Join us for this non-competitive 2 mile walk through beautiful Bear Creek Park recognizing Bubby's Friends Foundation. Bubby's Friends Foundation is a non-profit charity that financially assists individuals with Down Syndrome.
This walk is family friendly and a chance for everyone to come out and enjoy mother nature while supporting a great cause! Strollers are welcomed and advised for younger children. Four-legged friends are welcome. Dogs must remain on a leash for the walk.
Make sure to wear comfortable "walking" clothes, a hat, sunglasses and tennis shoes.
Check-in starts at 7:00 AM to sign in and receive your t-shirt! Walk starts promptly at 8:30 AM. Stay after the walk for refreshments and fun! Please park near the tennis courts. This is close to the Start & Finish Line, restrooms and a fun play area for the little ones!

Bubby's Friends Foundation was started in honor of Vincent "Bubby" Paul Orlando, Jr. B.F.F. is the realization of a life long dream of founder, Ronald V. Siemssen. Bubby's Friends Foundation financially assists individuals with Down Syndrome who need help with their medical bills, schooling and everyday expenses. Bubby was our Earthly Angel with Down Syndrome that touched many lives. We want to carry on Bubby's legacy with helping our Earthly Angels!
