Let’s set a Guinness World Record together! The goal is to have the BIGGEST dinner party in history and we need YOUR help - All you have to do is take a picture of your dinner party with the SpoonRocket sticker, hashtag #SFDinnerParty in the post, and upload it ANYWHERE on Facebook.
For the first time in history, San Francisco will be the center of a citywide dinner party hosted by SpoonRocket, an on-demand food delivery company started in the Bay Area. As the official launch of serving dinner in the City, the YCombinator-backed startup will be delivering their signature healthy, fresh meals to any curb in SF for $1 on Monday, July 21st and Tuesday, July 22nd.
All meals from 5-9pm on Monday and Tuesday will be $1, limit one per customer, while supplies last.
“The idea is to get every resident in SF to participate in the city’s largest dinner party. No need to cook or wash dishes—just have your friends over for a good time and we’ll do the cooking for you. That way, you get to be a host who can actually sit and enjoy dinner with your guests,” says CEO Steven Hsiao.
“We hope it turns into an annual SF event. Imagine, a city of 800,000 residents having dinner together, not literally of course; but everyone enjoying small dinner parties with their friends and family, who can then talk about the same food with their coworker the next day,” says Co-Founder Anson Tsui.
