Eventbrite is simply not set up to manage a series of classes

To answer a common question, this is a series of classes that make up the "classroom" part of a course that includes both classroom and hands-on work.  The classes do NOT repeat.

The Bee Course is the most complete education a beekeeper can find outside of a university course.  It is also absolutely free.   More important, it is dogma-free, presenting a pragmatic evidence-based approach unencumbered by mysticism or naivete about bees in a modern urban environment. Classroom sessions start in fall/winter, and continue until weather warms up enough for hands-on workshop sessions, which run through spring and summer.  Then we start over again in the fall, and so on.  We've been doing this since 2008 or so, long before beekeeping was even legal in NYC.  See http://NYCBeekeeping,org for details on the group that has grown around the course, as it hosts many other beekeeping-related events.

James Fischer and other experienced Urban Beekeepers

James Fischer wandered among his beehives in the mountains of Virginia without any formal credentials in entomology at all, but somehow had a very profitable business in pollinating apple trees and selling honey from his 600-hive operation. He holds no research or extension posts, has written no beekeeping books, has never run for any elected office, has accepted no appointments, has no honey judging expertise, and often forgets to refuel his smoker before it dies. He writes for the beekeeping magazines now and then, and speaks at meetings here and there, in futile attempts to drag beekeeping into at least the 19th, if not the 21st Century.  He has taught "The Bee Course" nearly forever, and has the grey hair to prove it.
