Dana Birkes, APR, FSMPS, CPSM
Dana serves as Flintco's Vice President with national oversight of the business development, marketing and public relations functions. Dana is an SMPS CPSM and Fellow. She has held numerous roles in national SMPS leadership including serving as national president from 2007-08 and is incoming president of the SMPS Foundation.
Dana is a member of the board of ABC Services Corporation, which provides management oversight for Construction Executive magazine. She serves as affiliate director for AIA Eastern Oklahoma, is chairman of The Associated General Contractors of America's national marketing committee and also serves on its national Executive Board. Dana is member of The Rotary Club of Tulsa and chairs its public relations committee. She also serves on the Tulsa Historical Society board and is a Leadership Tulsa graduate. Obtaining accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 2001, Dana was recently one of nine professionals nationally inducted in to its College of Fellows. In 2008, she was one of 50 women in the state recognized for community and business leadership in the Oklahoma Woman of the Year program.

From the Broken Arrow Expressway or US 412, take Highway 75-South:
From 75-South, take the West 21st St. exit. The exit lane curves and joins up with West 23rd St, which ends at a stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign on to West 21st. After a short block, there will be another stop sign at the intersection of 21st St. and Union Ave. Turn left on to Union Ave and then take your first left into a fenced parking lot in front of a warehouse building. There are no signs on this facility yet but there will be a paper sign on the door you should enter.
From the Turner Turnpike (I-44 East):
Take I-244 East to Highway 75-North, then take the Southwest Boulevard exit. Turn left at the stoplight at the end of the exit. Take the next left on to West 23rd St at the stoplight. Turn right onto West 21st St, which is the next stop sign. The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is a community of marketing and business development professionals working to secure profitable business relationships for their A/E/C companies. Through networking, business intelligence, and research, SMPS members gain a competitive advantage in positioning their firms successfully in the marketplace. SMPS offers members professional development, leadership opportunities, and marketing resources to advance their careers.
In September of 2001, a small group of A/E/C marketers met and quickly decided that an SMPS chapter in Oklahoma was desperately needed to help firms within the state join together to form stronger partnerships and also to offer training opportunities for its members. Within three months officers were elected, Articles of Incorporation were filed, and on December 11, 2001, Oklahoma was declared the 50th SMPS chapter in the nation.
