Join us as we explore the art of making traditional Japanese miso from local soybeans grown right here in Santa Cruz. Our guest chefs from Shumei Santa Cruz Farm of Natural Agriculture will teach you how to eat healthy and protect the environment at the same time. Each participant will leave with a sample of fresh handmade miso along with the recipes to make miso dressing and miso soup at home.
