Join us for an onsite and online conversation inspired by Lynn Hershman Leeson's web project Agent Ruby (on view at SFMOMA through June 2, 2013), followed by a reception with more conversations over drinks and snacks. Discussion topics will include the archive and the museum; discourse and participation; and emerging technologies and digital humanities. Participants include Lynn Hershman Leeson, artist and filmmaker; Amelia Jones, author, professor, and Grierson Chair in Visual Culture at McGill University; Henry Lowood, Curator for History of Science & Technology Collections, Germanic Collections, and Film & Media Collections at the Stanford University Libraries; and Moira Roth, professor of art history at Mills College. The conversation will be moderated by Rudolf Frieling, curator of media arts at SFMOMA.
The event is free with museum admission and requires an RSVP (above).
Museum admission tickets can be purchased at the museum box office on the day of the event (no surcharge), or in advance online (small surcharge applies).
