The Advanced Airway Course, (TAAC)
This course is designed for all persons in the emergency medical field who are responsible for managing airways in emergency situations.
This course is open to physicians, registered nurses, paramedics, air medical flight crews, respiratory therapist, oral surgeons, and dentists.
When the student has successfully completed this course, the student will be able to:
- State the signs and symptoms of hypoxemia
- Describe the mechanisms of oxygen delivery at the cellular level
- Demonstrate multiple manual methods of airway management
- Demonstrate needle and surgical cricothyroidotomy
- Identify the surface markings and structures to be noted when performing advanced airway procedures
What do I need to bring to the class?
Please bring a sweater or light jacket because the room is usually cold.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
You can send someone in your place with at least 24-hour prior notice to our office to the start of the class.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring your registration ticket with you to the class.
What is the refund policy?
Registration is nonrefundable.
Will you give me a receipt?
When you pay on paypal just print your own receipt at the time you complete the transaction.
Do you give CEs for the class?
Yes, we give nurses 7 CEs through the Florida Board of Nursing (#50-1299) and will post them to CE Broker following the class. Paramedics can take their certificates to their medical director and request approval for CEs through their agency.
