FINAL DAY EVENT DESCRIPTIONS:
The culmination of the 9th Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival programming, 2013 Final Day Events will include Family Day and Artist Performances:
Family Day (12- 3 PM) is a good old fashioned, pop the sprinklers, speakers in the window, block party. Before we get busy on our last day, we take a moment for the little duns. Family Day is a time for parents, babies, teens and grandma to have some ‘momma’ approved fun while we teach the youth about what Hip-Hop is all about. Come enjoy kid-friendly music, demos, workshops and more from a whole host of local, community oriented organizations.
Artist Performances (3- 8 PM) features performances by EPMD, Redman, Pusha T, Dizzy Wright, Soul Understate and more TBA, along with upcoming local talent, expanded Vendor Marketplace and diverse performances.
Mission: To bring you the best in Hip-Hop cultural programming at a price that all can afford. Making quality Hip-Hop accessible for that next Jay-Z in the crowd.
Location: We are IN Brooklyn. We are IN New York City. Not in the desert or a farm. We are talking spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline with Hip-Hop as the soundtrack for your enjoyment.
Accessibility: Festival grounds are not only accessible from multiple subway lines but bus routes, water taxis and foot traffic from Manhattan right over the Brooklyn Bridge.
