For the past eight years, Pearls of Wisdom has brought together powerful and successful women from various industries and walks of life into one room, willing to share their stories with the students of Baruch College, giving us “pearls of wisdom” if we ever find ourselves in similar circumstances.
This year’s Pearls of Wisdom Leadership Conference is truly groundbreaking. Our facilitated networking sessions between professional guests and undergraduate students will provide all participants with a genuinely enjoyable and intimate experience. We hope that the inspirational words of our guests will help the dozens of future businesswomen (and men!) in attendance “Take the Lead: Reach New Heights, Explore New Frontiers,” as they gain in-depth knowledge of various industries in a relaxed and supportive environment.
We are proud to welcome networkers, old and new, from Barclays, Citi, Deloitte, Digitas, EY, and many more reputable organizations. Linda Derrick of Pershing LLC and Callie Schweitzer of TIME magazine will be featuring as the opening and closing speakers respectively. In tradition with previous years, our conference has a dedicated cause, this year it being the Sadie Nash Leadership Project. Sadie Nash is a New York City based educational and advocacy program that provides young women the opportunity to analyze and explore the very nature of leadership. On the day of the conference, we will be accepting donations from attendees and all proceeds will be going towards the Sadie Nash Leadership Project.
Please be advised that the dress code is business professional. All guests will be given personalized nametags and be assigned to a specific table. Each table will have a networker, a facilitator, and 3-5 undergraduate guests. Networkers will move on to their second table once dinner is served, but undergraduate guests are required to stay at their assigned tables.

Women in Business
The Baruch College Collegiate Association of Women in Business began in 2005 with the mission of providing resources and skills that will help young women achieve their personal and professional aspirations.
