The 4th Annual “Coahoma to Sonoma County Blues Festival” at Lagunitas Brewing Company

Coahoma County Mississippi, nestled in the Mississippi Delta, is, and has been home to an amazing array of Blues Musicians. Clarksdale, Mississippi is the focal point for many a legend. John Lee Hooker was born there, Ike Turner, Sam Cooke, and Little Junior Parker to name a few. Muddy Waters, although born in Rolling Fork, was raised in Clarksdale. Close by in Indianola came the King of the Blues. . . B.B. King. On the outskirts of Clarksdale you’ll find the famed ‘CROSSROADS” where Robert Johnson reportedly sold his soul to the devil.

On Sunday, August 2nd, 2015, from noon to 7pm, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Bowker Family Productions and KRSH Radio present the 4th annual Coahoma to Sonoma County Blues Festival.

Doors open at 11am for festival goers, at the new Sanctuary entrance on the south side of the building (parking available in lots B & C by Adobe Creek Wine & Storage). The festival gets underway at noon, FREE TO ALL AGES, in the Beer Sanctuary with the Bill Abel, Layla Musslewhite, Markus James, and closes with Ray Wylie Hubbard, starting at 5:00pm.

Proceeds from beer sales at the event will go to Griot Arts in Clarksdale, an after school program providing arts to at risk kids. www.griotarts.com

**Note: Ticket holders will be allowed to enter at 11am to secure seats for the show. At 11:30am anyone without a ticket will be admitted to the Sanctuary, and seats will not be reserved for late arriving ticket holders.**

This is an about page for a Brewery and for a Beer, or whatever. We guess that it speaks to the idea of whatever people want to think we are or aren’t or should or shouldn’t be, but, after all, it’s just about trying to sift through the incessant nonsensical mumble of it all. And then there’s you, oh noble visitor, trying to interpret it all. What about us? words: spackle, crane, crepuscular. Do they mean anything? Sure. Is it relevant? , mostly nonsensical blather in a wasted attempt , but no one reads anymore, right? At least, except for You. ThankYouVeryMuch.
