The DePaul Law Review’s 24th Annual Symposium will focus on Mental Health Law, specifically addressing the hot topics from the perspectives of the foremost professionals who continuously work within this area building solutions to improve mental health services. Academics, practicing attorneys, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other experts will examine the issues and purported solutions concerning specific areas of mental health law, including the criminal justice system, involuntary commitment, confidentiality laws, and integrated health services, A wide array of topics will be covered with an overarching goal of connecting these diverse areas to understand the larger issues and effectively improve mental health services.
This symposium will offer up to 7.25 hours of CLE credits to include 1.5 hours of professional responsibility credits.
