The Good Friday Experience is an interactive venue that allows you to experience a small portion of Christ’s pain and suffering on the days leading up to His crucifixion. In addition, it has been uniquely designed to spark meaningful dialogue and teachable moments, which is why we have asked that you attend with your small group or family unit.
Each person will travel through this experience with either an mp3 audio player, that will guide you through an audio tour of the different stations, or with a program booklet, allowing you to lead the experience as a parent with your younger children.
Our hope and prayer is that you’ll come to a deeper understanding of the suffering, pain and humiliation that Christ endured from the time of His arrest through his execution on the cross… suffering, pain and humiliation that He endured, willingly, for you.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no ID requirements. Is there an age limit? Yes and no. We have officially placed a PG-13 rating on this event due to the graphic nature of the narritive and audio tour. However, we also provide a family guide allowing you to talor the experience to your family, and to "lead them" through the experience yourself. We hope this will allow you to simply skip any parts that may be inappropriate for your family.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes. You may update your registration information at any time.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You need to bring proof of registration to the event. You may bring either a printed ticket, or a "virtual ticket" by using the EventBrite app on either iOS or Android. Search for "EventBrite" in the app store/google marketplace.
Do you provide childcare for this event?
Sorry, but no. Because of the fluid nature of this event, scheduling childcare workers would prove impractical. We do, however, allow the "parent swap" and provide activities outside of the experience for younger children. This allows one parent to go through the experience, while the other stays with your child. Once the first parent completes the experience, he/she may stay with your child while the other parent goes through the experience. If you have questions about how this might work for your family, please contact us.
